This chronological order of Hessnyan monarchs is using the Survaekom calender to avoid confusion.
+ Kier the Uniter
(211 AR - 257 AR)
The first king of a united Hessnya, the leader of the Holsh tribe after they had been forced from their land by elves in 207 AR. He claimed the Hessnyan Hills as his peoples new home and scaled the cliffs and built what is now Kier's Climb. Worked most of his reign expelling or killing non-humans from his and his vassal's lands.
+ Heklaird the First
(257 AR - 280 AR)
The first son of Keir the Uniter is infamous for crushing the Neirsson rebellion of Wyvern's Landing and official joined the port to the Kingdom.
+ Kier the Second
(280 AR - 288 AR)
Also known as Keir the Sick, his reign lasted only eight years before passing away. His crown went to his younger sister.
+ Hylsa the Young
(288 AR - 345 AR)
The first queen of Hessnya without a husband at the start of her reign, Hylsa was fourteen at her coronation and built the Beachquarter and Wyverncliff districts of Wyvern's Landing throughout her reign. She later married the lord of Prystrol and handed the throne over to the eldest of her twin sons.
+ Rastolav the Murdered
(345 AR - 346 AR)
The first born of the twins of queen Hylsa, he reigned for only ten months before he was found murdered in his bed with sixteen stab wounds to the chest and neck.
+ Kier the Third
(346 AR - 392 AR)
Though he was implicated as Rastolav's murderer, he crushed a rebellion in Prystrol and Moorebank after the local lords tried to bring put him on trial for the murder of his twin.
+ Casomir the First
(392 AR - 431 AR)
Known for his numerous expeditions across the North, he built the first Hessnyan fleet and sailed as far as the southern coast of the southern continent.
+ Rastolav the Second
(431 AR - 489 AR)
A noted intellectual, he is the only king to never hold his court in Kier’s Climb but rather Wyverncliff.
+ Perostek the Elf lover
(489 AR - 523 AR)
Before he came to the throne, in grief of the loss of his wife giving birth to his son, Perostek spent his time whoring with elves in Wyvern’s Landing and upon his coronation tried to legitimise his numerous half-elf bastards. Much to the chagrin of the traditionalist lords of Hessnya.
+ Heklaird the Bastardslayer
(523 AR - 577 AR)
Upon the death of his father and his coronation, Heklaird hunted down and hung his father’s bastards along the road up to Kier’s climb. Some say in resentment of his father, whom often blamed Heklaird for the death of his wife, but more say to preserve the Holsh bloodline and secure his position on the throne.
+ Rastolav the Third
(577 AR - 614 AR)
Known for being empathetic and sympathetic to the plights of the poor, he often performed great acts of charity for the worst off in society.
+ Beirst the First
(614 AR - 651 AR)
A strong general that led multiple campaigns across the northern borderlands and forests, his pursuit for glory and conquest got him killed in a dwarven ambush.
+ Kier the Fourth
(651 AR - 742 AR)
One of the longest living of the Hessnayn monarchs, it is speculated that he often visited witches and took many unusual formulas and potions to extend his life thus.
+ Staltost the Missing
(742 AR - 757 AR)
A keen hunter and falconer, Staltost is remembered as the Missing King. After pursuing an albino stag in the deepest reaches of a forest, he disappeared. Many people say that his spirit still lingers in the forest, driving local woodsmen mad as they hear the hooves of his steed in the night or are watched by birds of prey.
+ Rastolav the Broken
(757 AR – 815 AR)
Rastolav is remembered for bending the knee to the Survaekom emperor after leading a failed guerrilla movement and not preventing the Crimson Order from committing numerous atrocities.
+ Casomir the Second
(815 AR - )
A keen architect and a skilled military engineer and general, Casomir is not only the second of his name but also the second of the Hessnyan king’s to swear fealty to the Survaekom.
