The Court of the Wind Lord beckoned.
Zorawarum the so called capital of the Usakh Horde.
Lord Emris tried to ignore the hollow eyed and hungry stares of its former inhabitants, the burnt buildings, the occasional screams that traveled over the air. The banner of the Commonwealth hung limply in the air. But more curiously, this was the first party of Northern Sylphs that had graced the Wind Lord's court. Emris had set out from the territory of the Mogui with a mission sent directly from King Rhodri himself. The King had ambitions to free the Western elves from Dyodorist oppression and more importantly secure a Sylph friend in the West.
Lord Emris was to make clear that King Rhodri could be a powerful friend indeed. The traveling party was heavily armed and armored, boasting bronze cuirasses and helms. It wasn't just swords and lances that hung from their scabbards however but carbines that could unleash powerful firepower on any foolish enough to attack.
Emris was aware that it wouldn't be enough to save them however. The Usakh were numerous as the fish in the sea or the birds in the sky.
It wasn't weapons that Emris was counting on to save them but religion. Two Aedek missionaries with a gaggle of acolytes stayed within the center of the party. If the Wind Lord would allow, it was Emris intention to spread the word of Aed to their ignorant cousins.
It was thus that he arrived, a message sent ahead from King Rhodri Aeron Sefti, King of the Sefti-Berrandan Commonwealth, King of Navara, Duke of Berranda, and King of the Northern Fae Folk.
Would the Wind Lord listen to what he had to say?
