The desire for a Sylphan Union had been one long in the rumblings of the common people, yearning for a return to the old values and tranditional way of things that dominated Sylphan lives before the journey to this realm. It was good to see that others also desired similar things. Thankfully, the only barrier was religious between the two peoples. Culturally and racially, they were incredibly similar, and while the Elves and Dwarves of the north may be somewhat troublesome to the idea of a 'pure' Sylphan nation, they would be cast aside as easily as dust from an unclean floor should they dare to attempt to rise above their station, as second-class citizens.
With a scribble from his pen, King Pedro signed the document, finding it to the likings of both himself, and his people.
"It's a pleasure to accept the office, my fellow Monarch."
A new Sun was rising in the east, one which carried the glories of the Sylphs with it.

The Union of the Sefti-Navaren Commonwealth had meant that it had become the largest nation in the Imperial North. Yet it was still a country that was in te midst of its own internal problems. The most pressing of which had become food. The Northern half of the Commonwealth was much more heavily populated that its Southern counterpart. The great graneries that kept the masses fed were running perilously low. With much of the Sefti-Navaren Army deployed to the West to fight off the Orc hordes, King Aeron lacked the manpower to put down any squabbles that might erupt from food shortages. It was therefore important for the King to secure much needed food supplies to last the year. It was why Lord Carawyn found himself sitting in the Navaren capital, having requested a meeting with his Southern counterpart.
'' King Aeron would ask his brother King Pedro to supply the North with three tonnes of food (3 food slots) for the coming year (two turns) in order to make up for the expected shortfalls. In addition, in order to ensure security in the North, General Modron has requested for two regiments of Navaren troops to supplement his own forces. '' Lord Carawyn asked, eyeing his counterpart over the rim of his tea cup.

"This is perfectly acceptable. We have a vast surplus of food, and an additional few troops sent to yourself will go a long way in helping you fight the invading.... hordes. Or whoever is acceptable." The King responded, taking a drink from his cup of aged tea.

By now word of the atrocities that had been committed at Leoten had made its way up the coast to the North. The Privy Council had been quick to dispatch a diplomat to assess the damage to the Royal Capital that had been so badly sacked. Lord Carawyn arrived to find the stench of death and burnt flesh still lingering in the air. Workers rummaged through rubble, buildings were pockmarked with bullets, and blood still splattered the streets in places. Outrage filled the Sylph that his people could be lain so low. A message had been dispatched to King Pedro requesting a meeting to discuss the tragedy and how new defenses might be raised against further raids.
