The Emperor of Kaersch had seen fit to open trade relationships with other countries through the continent and one of those countries was the Sterling Kingdom of Korash, another Craithan Dydorist. A nation that Kaersch could trust if they didn't prove otherwise. Little was known of their country but that they had many forests and that their lands were large. Surely, they would have things to trade with the Confederacy. Little also was sought of this diplomatic meeting, except maybe improving relationships as the Confederation while big and strong, could still use one ally or two in these troublesome days. Leading the diplomatic envoys was Duke Perost Karmied a young but tall adult with blond hair, he was an officer of the army but also a diplomat thanks to his noble education. He had previously made the arrangements for this travel and brought a gift for the king and queen of the kingdom. He was a prepared man and he hoped to serve the country that now faced soo much trouble to all sides.

Duke Perost was met at the borders of Korash by a patrol of riders. After a quick inspection to confirm his identity, the riders led them quickly to Mewold, the capital city of Korash. The city lay deep in the forests, surrounded by the nature of the forest. Despite its location, Mewold was a surprisingly large city and Duke Perost was led immediately to the Palace to meet with Queen Ellyn Finchey and her husband Masym.
As the Duke was led into the throne room, Queen Ellyn awaited him on a throne of ornately carved oak, adorned with gold and silver. She looked down on the duke from the raised dias upon which the throne rested.
"Greetings, Duke Perost Karmied, to what purpose have you come to Korash?"

The Duke was certainly impressed by the foreign architecture of the northern kingdom, it was similar to that of the Grand County of Sathay but not quite at the same time. It was after all exotic something that the Duke had learned to appreciate as someone from the Torleyan Aristocracy of the south of Kaersch, a province that was the neighbor to three different cultures. The duke now before the queen herself, decided to introduce his intentions and his gifts for her.
"My queen, I am honored that you gave us admission to your grand kingdom. I carry with me the intentions of the Imperator of Kaersch and with it the purpose that brings me here. Our wise Imperator has decided that it would be best for both our kingdoms to officially open up trade between our nations and thus he proposes that arrangements are to be made in both our countries, as you know, our Confederacy is rich and has plenty of things to offer to your as your does to your nation, and not even that we even follow the same religious doctrine and as such, none will protest it. And before you answer, I let me present you the gifts that my country presents to you Queen of Korash."
As soon as, the duke said that two young nobles made a couple of steps forward and kneeled presented with their two hands, one artifact each. The first one was of the finest carpets that one could find in Kaersch and the second was an exotic jewelry from the East, brought by the Baemirians when they came to the West.

Queen Ellyn accepted both gifts with grace, admiring both the rugs and the jewelry before she returned her attention to the two young nobles.
"These are fine gifts, worthy of Kaersch's glory. I would happily agree to open our markets to Kaersch for the prosperity of both of our nations." She clapped her hands and two servants walked forward to take the gifts and bring it to the Queen's chambers for further perusal.
"If there is any other business you have for me, say it now. Else, I welcome you to my hall and implore you to take in our hospitality."
