A diplomatic delegation from Kaersch rides to the Divine Kingdom of Keva, with the objective of improving relationships between the two Dydorist countries. This of course, with the intention of corraling the southern state of the Kalmar, enemies of Dydor and therefore all dydorist nations. It was with the thought that the rulers of Keva did understand the threat of the Kalmar that they prepared an entire speech to convince them to agree to a defensive pact between both countries. By now all was set and the diplomatic envoys of Kaersch Baron Eiser Aet and Carthel Sor awaited entrance to the capital of Keva.

Baron Eiser Aet and Carthel Sor were allowed into the capital with minimal fuss, their paperwork was in order and despite the underlying tensions between Kaersch and Keva, it could not be denied that they shared a common faith and common history.
That common history was part of the natural tension between both countries, being natural successor states of the old empire. However, courtesies would be maintained and both Eiser and Carthel were allowed into the throne room of King Vyncis Gylley with minimal fuss.
"Welcome, ambassadors of the Kaersch, it is a pleasure to meet you in person. What brings envoys of Kaersch into my humble hall?"

If there was something that most knew, it was the ambitions that successors states held for their country. After all, it was no surprise to anyone when the Imperator announced that more troops would be raised and more guns produced. It was the way of things on the west, everyone sought to dominate everyone else, but the time for domination was not yet ripe. Now it was time for speeches and diplomacy to make sure that the human dominance over the west was not disturbed or even threatened, for the many non-humans had to be slaved or killed and in collaboration of Keva. One such opportunity appeared before Kaersch.
"King Vyncis of Keva, what brings us today here is a most rightful proposal by our Imperator. It is a proposal that will present Dydor with the most honorable deeds, deeds that involve your undesirable neighbors to the south, the Kalmar dwarfs, and it is that our great Imperator seeks an alliance to make sure that the power of the Kalmar is diminished and that of humans strengthened. An alliance that makes use of the opportunity that war and other devils bring today. As you may already know, the Kalmar have expanded into the Riverlands, we lack clear information on the matter but it seems most obvious that they will fight against the Usakh sooner rather than later, this will mean that they will be quite busy and weakened, once their war is over, and these events seems most fortuitous to an extent that missing this chance to strike down the enemies of Dydor could be considered negligence to the faith. So my Imperator proposes that we both unite in the single purpose of fighting the Kalmar. That and of course, trade that will serve to fund this most honorable venture. So what do you think King of Keva "

"Interesting..." King Vyncis intoned as he pondered the thought, his ringed hands stretching along the arms of his throne to clutch at their ends. King Vyncis Gylley was a fighter, a warrior-king whom would wage war from the front with bloodied blade and blackened matchlock in hand. He had shared in the bloodshed and misery of battle with his fellow man and for it he had earned the loyalty of the experienced armies now at his command. The proposal was intriguing, a chance to expand his divine kingdom with territories carved from the hearts of infidels.
"Your proposal intrigues me." The Kevan King spoke, leaning forward in his throne to regard the envoys with stern eyes. "There are however some considerations to be made. If we are to wage war, our blades to drink the blood of devils. Then I would know what rewards and treasures are to be mine. I will make my expectations clear for you, I expect land. " He said firmly. Curious to see just how much the Kaersch would be willing to offer, their answer a show of how much respect they held for his kingdom and whether consorting with these foreigners was worth his time.
"One also hears rumors of horned giants from beyond the eastern mountains within their lands. Whether the Kalmar devils have forged some infernal alliance with the Colossi or these giants are of a different banner. Well, I cannot say."

"The Division that will take place is simple, in the war to come, you will take the northernmost province of the Kalmar while my nation will take over the Riverlands that they have so desired to claim for themselves, about the East the records of the Baemirians tell us that there are many races to the East and that we should expect at least one of them to show opposition to us, of course, they actually do very little against us, for logistically it would be impossible to send a big enough force to attempt conquest or give adequate support to any nation they wish to favour. There is little to worry, but in the case, we meet them in battle, we should be cautious and try to learn as much as we can from them"
"As for when we should be ready to strike, I say that my Emperor has already assigned someone and they are basically just waiting the order for it to happen, I suggest that your kingdom also takes the proper preparations for the war to come, if everything goes well, we will be richer and more powerful, and also we would have put one of the lesser races back in their place"
