Each people has as much a right to independence from your "Holy Empire" as your own Commonwealth did from the Grand Survaek Empire, as elucidated in the Vaekirate's well-known tract on the Northern Contract. I beseech your Highness: Be not the Vokoryn II of our day.

You know the guarantees New Byrnis has made in regards to the newly-independent realms. If you persist in your course of aggression, I will have no choice but to cut off all trade between our realms and declare war in defense of those I have pledged to protect.

The Duchy of Berranda has been held hostage by a small group of rebels who are attempting to subvert the legitimate rule of the people of the Berranda and disrupt the line of Imperial Succession. I speak on behalf of my grandfather and myself when I say this : Attack the Empire at your peril for we will not stop until the country has been made whole again.
