The Firetooth Clan through careful diplomacy, economic dependence, and sometimes outright intimidation had bonded the various clans of Orcland to its cause in one form or another. Out of all the Orc clans, it seemed that the Stonefoot and Ironspear Clans were the closest to Thundercrown. Thus, it seemed only natural to seek to develop economic ties with the closest allies of the Firetooth who if the reports were true were looking to develop their own economies.
