The mountainous trek to the lands of the Wolfwyrd had taken many weeks but Hiyoshi Matsuko had been determined to see the journey through. The Wolfwyrd and Ikegami had been friends for some time, supporting each other in their defenses, Sayoko had expressed a desire to see trade reopened with the Wolfwyrd and Matsuko was there to see it done.

The Wolfwyrd Clan had been careful in its dealings with the outside world. It was this neutrality that had allowed the Wolfwyrd Clan to survive the Northern Wars relatively stable and intact. While the Ironspear and Stonefoot had benefited from Firetooth patronage, Wolfwyrd acceptance of the status quo had been a begrudging thing that did not come lightly. The Ikegami representatives were admitted to Erlantz and were met by a small horde of courtiers and representatives of Chief Shel Gra Ortsana in the Hall of Eldars. It was Eldar Pargu, an Orc bent by the passage of time who addressed the elves. His eyes were a near milky white from cataracts but his voice was a deep baritone. '' On behalf of Chieftess Ortsana, I welcome you to Erlantz. It has been many years since an Elf has walked amongst us. Tell us why you have come and we shall listen... '' He said extending a shaky cane in a wave to incorporate the various representatives.

Matsuko bowed respectfully before the Elder as she began to lay out her proposition.
"Greetings and well-wishes to the Chieftess and the Wolfwyrd. I come on behalf of Daimyo Ikegami Sayoko, she wishes to see trade reopened with the Wolfwyrd for the continued prosperity of both our peoples."
