Imperial Capital of Herkaria Y940
For the people of Herkaria the capital was the symbol of splendor and glory of the Confederation, the true shining beacon of a pure civilization in the continent, one that stood with the pillar doctrine of Dydorism and with a rich history spanning back hundreds if not thousands of years in the past. Of course, the cities of Mireia and Liseret that also were great on their own, but no as rich or beautiful as Herkaria. To the foreign visitor, it would seem like the Herkarians were a bit too proud of living where they did, but to say the truth many previous Imperators had long used to pamper the Herkarian population by building monuments of promoting festivals every once and then, beyond that Herkaria was truly a capital and in said sense it was the economic and political center of the whole Confederation, with many nobles living in the richest districts with craftsmen working every day and artists being patronized by the nobles and rich.
And it just happened that the Imperator Alsan II was a man that certainly loved the city, it was his city and the city of the past Imperators, it was full of history and his symbol of power, under his command the city guards were given colorful uniforms beautifully dyed by the craftsmen of the city, each with the colors of the noble's heraldry of the district they were assigned to. Earlier in the same year, he had accepted a proposal from his wife Empress Eyra to build a center of learning in the Torley district, seeing that it was popular with the people of Herkaria he decided to something similar but this time for his own use and that of the Imperial Army, one where the future generals and officers of the Confederation would be educated and taught in the arts of the Kaerschian Martial tradition.
His close advisor Merseras a Baemirian was the one who gave him the idea of this school, Merseras an educated Baemirian as he was, had learned much about the Baemir's colony history and the many books that the Baemirians translated and brought with them through their harsh journey to Kaersch, he knew that far to the south in what once was the Survaekom Empire, their officers were educated and sent to an academy where they learned much about warfare and he knew that if it was possible to apply it here, then it should be done in order to increase the power of the Confederation in future years.
The Academy would be named after Raeras III the first Imperator of the Confederation, the one who had repulsed a whole horde of invasions in Kaersch and who had set the path for the rise of Kaersch in regional affairs. The full name of the academy would be "Imperial Military School Raeras III". This continued a series of steps from the Baemir faction in the Confederation to make the Confederation stronger and prepared for a contact with the East and the Devils that inhabited, a process started ever since their arrival to the Confederation. After all, the Baemirians wished for a vengeance against those who had long harassed them and destroyed their homeland, and they knew that said vengeance would come sooner or later.
