History:
The Mogui Dynasty originates from a collection of now nameless Orc tribes (collectively known as the Haipa, the Afraid) that fled west from the growing Orcish Aedak tribes, in the hopes of retaining their independence from southern ideas. They eventually came to settle to the far northeast of The Yanitro Sea, where they tried to hold their own against Orcish Raids to the East and Dydorist to the South and West. Where they struggled to get by on herding and agriculture, this led to large scale infighting among the tribes. During these difficult times the Haipa became disfranchised by the Orcish Gods they had once held revered, this led to a radical formation of religion known as Zunzhong. The primary beliefs of Zunzhong is that their is no gods but instead everything is influenced by ones ancestors and one can win the favor with them by resolving issues they were not able to in life, also mages were seen as those blessed with the ability for the ancestors to act through them. Because of this a desire for revenge against swept across the Haipa and would come to shape their modern history.
Around 100 years ago with the chaos of the Orcish Wastes subsiding an ambitious Chief known as Shi Fen using his knowledge of Warfare brought to his tribe a revolution of ideas that would put them ahead of the other Orc Tribes. Shi Fen had acquired this knowledge during his time as a mercenary for anyone willing to employ him , however as he traveled through the Dydorist lands he saw the way his race and many others were being treated this inspired him to avenge his ancestors. First though he launched a campaign using both word and steel to unite the Haipa tribes under a single banner, he would accomplish goal only after 15 grueling years to continued Dydorist attacks. Sadly 8 months after uniting the tribes Shi Fen would die to disease leaving his son Yang Fen to continue his dream of vengeance.
Yang Fen would go on to lead his people in the invasion of collection of Dydorist city-states to the far west. He also revolutionized the way the Haipa organized their army and society, with the introduction of the Banner System in which the 4 largest tribes were responsible more creating and supplying at least 4 regiments at all times. Smaller tribes and those who lacked a tribe were organized based of geographic location, White Banners as they came to be named were created and dissolved as populations shifted. Early during the invasion the Haipa invasion fighting was brutal and both sides would commonly attack civilians leading to many of the cities becoming nothing more than ruins. It wasn't until Yang Fen's Banners arrived at the Great Radiant Dydorist city of Gui Chengshi that he attempted negation seeing he would be unable to win without taking massive losses. From these negotiations The Gui Pact came about, which would give Yang Fen control over the city but he would have to allow the humans to live in the city and maintain their Dydorist Beliefs albeit even more friendly than typical Radiant Dydorism. But their was more conditions Yang Fen had to follow which included moving his court to Gui Chengshi and adopting some of the local's culture. From this the Mogui Dynasty was born and its people went to work trying to rebuild the destruction caused by the war, it has been twenty years now since The Gui Pact and Yang Fen has died from the stresses of leadership leaving his son Kang Fen to continue on path his ancestors laid out for him.
