The Imperator Alsan II descendant of the glorious Raeras III founder of the Confederacy is known to be a figure of unity and strength, as he leads his armies to battle like too few now do and he leads them with splendor and pride knowing that his soldiers and officers will follow him in whatever direction he goes.
His nickname is that of the "Golden Eagle" because people think that he is always on the lookout should anything happen in the confederation, as he is quick to answer problems within the confederation such as troubles between old noble families. Some people look to him as a prideful ruler who cares for his citizens, some others believe that he is but a fancy dreamer and that he is as any other king or emperor in the rest of the world worried more about himself than the realm he is supposed to rule.
Politically he leans towards something he calls the Rebirth of Kaersch, an intellectual movement that focuses on the study of the days of old and that hopes that Kaersch will emulate the splendor and power of the past eras in which Kaersch was a beacon of civilization on the west.
Married to the duchess of Torley, Eyra, who is smart enough to understand politics and his views of the world, Alsan II doesn't stand alone in his personal relationships unlike some of his predecessors did like Raeras III himself whom only married so that the Confederation could be born.
As he is still relatively young there is no clear image of him and his nickname is only said by a few percentage of the population, there is still time for him to prove himself and to rule the Confederacy to new heights.

The Imperial Hunters.- The soldiers that form the ranks of this regiment are all descendants of the settlers of the East from what was once known as the Kingdom of Baemir have an oath in which they pledge to protect the Imperator of Kaersch from all threats. They are also known to be staunch fanatics of giant hunt as a way to avenge the people that died in Baemir under the Sacrye treason. They use special rifles with special ammunition so they can be more effective at killing big targets like giants and beasts, it is said that one of the bullets can take off the skin from the face of a man with a single hit. They are lead by Captain Harsar Rifro descendant from the king of Baemir Nitrasit Suti Rifro, known as the founder of Baemir and the one to start the alliance with the Sacrye, since their betrayal people consider his line dirty and impure, therefore him and the rest of his family have worked very hard to clean that impurity by doing the best they know to do, killing giants.
Capital: The Imperial Capital of Herkaria.-
The Capital of the Confederation wasn't one of the old cities of Kaersch instead by order of the first Imperator it was a newly built city built upon a new tax that affected the whole Confederation and that allowed for the hiring of thousands to built one grand city that could be the center of the confederation, each district was named or themed after one province of the Confederation and each member also was sure that their respective district or office within the city was grand , the result was Herkaria a metropolis built with the future in mind and that is quite different from district to district as the colours of one house or the other takes hegemony over the others and the same can be said about architecture.

The imperial province of Larnos was territory given by many members to the Imperator as a way to show their loyalty to the new Confederation and while Mireia gave the most land, other houses still stand proud of being part of the foundation of the confederation( even if they only gave an hectarea of land) . Now the Imperial Province of Larnos is where the voice of the Imperator is law and it means some heavier taxes in exchange of more protection and rights to the people , as such it is the only province of the Confederation that doesn't have any serfs working for big landowners and most hold the land that their grand grand father did. Overall , Larnos is more peaceful and orderly than the rest of the provinces in exchange of a more strict code of law

Provinces - Weak, even with a grand name and long tradition, Kaersch has lost most of its original territory after the great catastrophes, either conquered or settled by other states, as such, not many remains from the original Kaersch provinces and whatever is left is held by the Confederation with great caution.
Cities - Strong: Cities are also important centers of the culture and history of the Empire even if most of them have had to be rebuilt after the age of the great catastrophes, most of them after the creation of the Confederation which means that these cities have an increased loyalty to the state rather than to their original owners from houses long ago vanished, as the provinces they also have a representative in the imperial capital, who often manoeuvre here and there to keep their monopoly over the refinement of the resources of the Confederacy as to trade with the foreigners under their own terms.
Population- Strong: Even if territorial wise smaller than other nations, Kaersch has been for most of its time a land of growth and fertility, always filled with enough people to work the fields and to serve their king. This density of population has served well the goverment can exercise greater control over its population.

-4 Heavy Infantry Standing Levies.-The Nieras, the sword, and shield used to dominate the structure of the Imperial Army, now it stands at the secondary role of protecting the other regiments from the melee fighters of the enemy.
-3 Noble Cavalry Standing Levies.-The Tayit, the Tayit are the heavy cavalry of the Confederation, the typical nobles, and knights who ride to battle on their armored steeds, they often reside at the provinces in their mansions and castles, some live in the Imperial court but most of them work as bodyguards
Foot Archers Levy.- The Jokla, the Jokla are the traditional archers of Kaersch , by now only used by the lords and nobles in their respective lands, while the Imperial forces no longer have them in their ranks because they consider them to be outdated and lacking in power.
Long-Spears Levy.-The Harman, once as important as the matchlock infantry has now become obsolete for the Imperial Army , as such the Harman are now only employed by the nobles
-2 Swivel Guns Standing Levies.-The Desoras, the Desoras are the users of the swivel gun in the Imperial Army, a gun that has many uses from defense to offense , it is third on the priority of the army just behind the Kassar and the Barit. It often works with melee infantry in attacks to break havoc on enemy ranks
-2 Foot Rockets Standing Levies.-The Skilas, the Skilas are the foot rocket regiments of the Imperial Army , seen more as of a support weapon, it is used along with the Barit to create chaos in the ranks of the enemy and to break their morale
-6 Heavy Guns Standing Levies.-The Barit, named after the Baemirians , who brought the cannon to the West , the Barit are huge cannons made by Baemirians smiths who reside in the province of Larnos. Only the Imperial Army have them and they have it in great numbers as to strike fear in the armies of its enemies and to maximize their firepower, they have the nickname of the “Dydor’s Thunders”. It's the main weapon of the Imperial Army and also its pride.

Their news is worrying both about the many races found there like the giants and the use of magic in that region of the world, but they have also brought to Kaersch the musket and rifle, guns that have taken now an important position in the Confederate Army.
