Like all dwarves he's greedy beyond belief but not with out a sense of morals. Throngil tradition mandates that a king is chosen threw combat, the strongest fighter is raised to king to become a beacon of what his people should aspire too. In his fight for the throne, he had to face his own brother and in doing so had killed him. A grief that has plauged Vhron but has not kept him from performing his duties.
Prince Rhogar Throngil (Warrior): The wording of prince is just a title, in order for him to become king, Rhogar must prove himself the same way his father did. Though not cunning like his father, his skills as a warrior is regarded well among his people. A bit slow but it is the warriors mentallity with a steel box.
Lady Venerei Throngil (Ambassador): A human woman adopted by King Vhron as an orphan. Sympathy saved her and in return helps with court matters and handling any diplomatic matters. Because after all dwarves are stubborn and sometimes a woman's touch is all you need.
History:
The Throngil line had never actually been in power before King Vhron Throngil, actually a minor house bordering poverty. When the late king had died Vhron had entered to raise his family above line of his fathers. When a young Vhron had entered and became the next king it was met with glorious applause, that if a dwarf from a low house could enter the King's Combat and win any dwarf could. With this inspiration it brought about the utmost joy in among his people though as a new king was crowned a new holiday was raised for the fallen brother Rhorn's Day was created. More of a fesitival that most use to get drunk and eat untill vomiting and then continue, but the kings hold has remained quite on this day.
The Throngil's have an extreme hatred for goblins, seeing them as a worthless race of ants to be crushed. Thanks largely for them to attack the crown so brazenly, invoking the rage of Prince Rhogar. Upset with both rage and grief Rhogar spearheaded the assualt against the goblin incursion. A succesful incursion that resulted in the annihilation against the goblin host but an untold amount of dwarvern sacrifices. Earning him the name of Bloodbeard Rhogar.
Upon Rhogar's return it brought his fathers anger with him, calling Rhogar a bloodthirsty lout. Enraged by the act, the prince called for a one on one King's Combat. Never so done while a king still breathed, but was carried on regardless. With the crowds gathered to watch father and son fight, a rather short fight. King Vhron overpowered him quickly holding Rhogar's life in his hand but sparing him since was his son. The lesson in humility was hard to swallow but since the fight and what was expected a fight to the death, since that the prince had been trying to learn patience but at a crawling pace.
