Nazram Golmor.
The Cerdigonian soldiers dragged the Dwarf warlord out in chains. He had was bloodied, bruised, and it was clear the Sylph's had some fun with the former would be '' Master '' to avenge their King. Aeron for his part was sitting in the courtyard, watching wisps of smoke curl skyward as his men put out the last of the fires that had been started. An apothecary was working on extracting the arrow that had punched through his wrist, the arrowhead was barbed so the man had to use special tools to extract it to avoid tearing the flesh and causing more blood loss. Aeron's eyes were cloudy, no doubt from a dose of pain killing draught he had been drinking while the good doktor worked.
'' Ah, Master Nazram. I am pleased that you could join us. '' He said, his eyes coming to pin the dwarf in his place like a field mouse caught in the sights of a hawk.
'' You and I have business to discuss. I am willing to let you live, despite the losses that I have incurred. In exchange, you will command any remaining Dwarf insurgents that remain to lay down their arms and surrender. Any prisoners will swear new oaths of loyalty to the Vaekirate. I want the bloodshed to end, if you do not, then I will throw you from the city walls along with your men. '' Aeron said his face contorting into a vicious scowl. Nazram was more valuable to the King alive than dead, especially in a monetary fashion. Three thousand jien for the Dwarven lords capture but he was willing to forego payment in exchange for satisfaction.

Cathasach passed between the Cerdigonian guards holding the gate, returning their bows before continuing on forward. His hood had been pulled back from his head since the combat and his cuirrass had been left with his comrades back in their camp. His sabers, however, remained tightly belted at his hips. Cathasach had been made aware of Nazram Golmor's capture and had immediately left his brotherhood's camp to get to the interrogation he knew would be happening.
"Young King," called Cathasach as he closed on the two lords, using the title Vaekirate troops had given to Aeron, "Your victory is well earned; Aed favored your bravery this day. I come to speak on behalf of His Holiness in the interest of the prisoners that were taken during the assault on the city. It is my prerogative that we treat them with the Dignity that they deserve. That is all."

"You foreign bastards are no better than the jotun." He spat a mouthful of blood and a tooth or two. "You come to our city, attack without so much as a parlay and now you expect me to just hand you the keys to the treasury and tell my men to bend the knee. At least those lying shits from Ikegami parlayed with me before they tried to attack." His glare was less than intimidating due to one eye being swollen shut. "So no 'Little King' I will do nothing of the sort. All I will offer you is one of the horse posts in the yard. Seat yourself upon it and rotate, counter clockwise."
He Shifted to the warrior priest. "My people still follow Aed. I have done every thing in my power to keep my city from falling apart through the civil war. I would also point out that I never sent troops into the field to fight against other vassals of the emperor. My goal has be only to maintain our independence. If his holiness will support my city's standing as a Free City I will give orders to my people to cease there resistance and to accept whomever his holiness appoints as master of the city. Provided that the appointee must be a native of the city. My people will NOT submit to a foreign dictator."

Cathasach squinted as he watched the dwarf's lips flap wildly, bloody spittle flecking the area around him as he screamed obscenities at Aeron. This was hardly the dignity expected of a defeated warrior and did not speak highly of the 'warlord' who spoke it. The Warrior-Monk, however, decided to give the dwarf ample time to finish his shouting. It wasn't until Golmor turned towards him and unleashed a tirade of demands and excuses that Cathasach spoke his own mind, making sure to beat Aeron to the first response.
"You have made your first mistake, Warlord. I will abide only two more. Your people fought valiantly, do not disgrace their bravery with your sharp tongue. Dignity in defeat is just as important as dignity in victory. And though you are correct, the Young King did not seek parlay as is his right, you did not order your troops to surrender even after seeing the banner of His Holiness at the forefront of this crusading army. You have expressed demands to me to bring unto His Holiness, Vaekir Koen the First, blessed is he who speaks for Aed, as if you are Raegar the Prophet himself. If you wish to speak to a King in such a way, do so, but if I hear your sharp tongue attempt to make such demands of Our Liege again I shall teach you the error of your ways in the most painful manner I can devise.
The Vaekir's position is as such. This city now falls under the jurisdiction of the Order of the Crimson Tome. Further designs for this city will be discussed: rest assured, Lord of Dwarves, that your people shall not be harmed if they are as faithful as you claim. All those prisoners taken on the walls by my warriors shall be granted Aed's mercy and be given clemency for they were simply defending their homes. You, however, are to be taken to Karmozijn Kerk to answer for your apostasy; if you are found to have true remorse for your actions you will be released on full pardon by His Holiness. This is the final word of the Vaekir on this matter and is not up for discussion."

The former so called Master of the City found himself being bludgeoned under a hail of blows for his insolence by the guardsman. Aeron watched this a moment, allowing the Dwarf to be punished for his impudence. '' Enough, take him away. Let's see if time spent in a cell will change his attitude. Perhaps we should put him in with his loving subjects, I'm sure that they will appreciate seeing their so called Lord and Master. '' He ignored the barrage of insults that followed as the Sylph guards began to drag him out of the courtyard. '' I will be turning Golmor and any prisoners I have over to you Brother Catasach. I will let the Vaekirate decide their fate. I have little desire to tarry in this place for much longer, far too many dead. '' Aeron said, taking another swig of the draught that he kept within his hand. '' I will wait for reinforcements from the Vaekirate to arrive before I depart however so that you have the numbers to hold the city in the event of any unforseen uprisings. '' Who knows how many of Golomors supporters were still alive and waiting to strike? In the interim, the King had other things on his mind...like locating the dwarven treasury. His men were combing the city and questioning prisoners.
