That it holds no pretensions to the core territories of the Old Esharan Empire' that great area which lies on the Tumble Way, Red, and Jetma Rivers; stretching even from the southeastern provinces of the Ikegami Clan, through the territory of the United Kingdoms , and into Ontare, Gwent, Cambria, and as far south as Berranda. That these lands once formed the core territories of the nation to which we are a successor is undeniable; that we would claim these territories or ever seek to take them by force is rejected.
That it holds no pretensions to the territories of those nations which were once vassals of Old Eshara or are heirs to such nations. That it holds no pretensions, either, to any peripheral territories of the Old Esharan Empire.
That it shall only ever seek to annex into itself such lands and people that consider themselves Esharan and seek after union with it, and that wars of aggression, subjugation, and expansion are condemned by it utterly - that the freedom of the peoples of Ergoria is an inherent right, and that none may keep a people subjugated or enslaved if they rise up against tyranny.
That it does not consider itself an 'Empire' in the sense that Old Eshara or the Grand Survaekom Empires were, and that it is the voluntary union of various peoples adhering to the Esharan faith, led by a chosen Recimir of the Esharan dynasty of Old Eshara.
That it is the heir, successor, and continuation of Old Eshara insofar as; its ruling dynasty is one and the same; its official religion is one and the same; its cultures, languages, and traditions are inspired by, descend from, or are local adaptations of Old Esharan culture, language, and tradition.
Be it so witnessed by all the peoples of Ergoria, from where the sun doth rise to where at last it sets.
